The Gold Laser Corydora is a stunning and peaceful bottom-dwelling catfish, instantly recognisable by its brilliant metallic gold stripe that runs from its head to its tail. Their shimmering colours and active nature make them a favourite among freshwater aquarium hobbyists.
Gold Laser Corydoras are highly social fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6 to help them feel secure and display their natural schooling behaviour. They spend their days foraging through the substrate for leftover food, making them an excellent addition to community aquariums.
These hardy fish thrive in well-maintained aquariums with soft sand or smooth gravel to protect their sensitive barbels. Feed them a varied diet of quality sinking pellets, wafers, frozen foods, and live foods to keep them healthy and vibrant.
