The Paraguay Tetra is a peaceful and attractive schooling fish that brings subtle silver tones accented with warm golden hues to the community aquarium. Their active swimming behaviour and calm temperament make them an excellent choice for planted tanks and mixed community setups.
Paraguay Tetras thrive when kept in schools of at least 6, where they display their natural shoaling behaviour and become more confident. They appreciate well-planted aquariums with open swimming space, subdued lighting, and stable water conditions.
These easy-to-care-for fish readily accept a varied diet including quality flakes, micro pellets, frozen foods, and live foods. A balanced diet will help maintain their health, colour, and activity levels.
