The Panda Corydora is a popular and adorable freshwater catfish, named for its distinctive black-and-white markings that resemble a giant panda. Their peaceful nature, playful behaviour and small size make them a fantastic addition to community and planted aquariums.
Panda Corydoras are bottom-dwelling fish that spend much of their time exploring the substrate and searching for food. They are highly social and should be kept in groups, where they are more confident and display their natural behaviour.
They appreciate a mature aquarium with a soft, sand-based substrate, plenty of hiding places and clean, well-oxygenated water. A varied diet of sinking pellets, wafers and frozen foods will help keep them healthy and in excellent condition.
