About us
Our story
At What’s Fishy? Aquarium, we are dedicated freshwater aquarium specialists, serving hobbyists from beginners to experienced aquarists.
Our founder, Sam, began his journey breeding a wide variety of freshwater fish, gaining years of hands-on experience in fish health, nutrition, and behaviour before opening the shop. Originally established in Jannali, we are now proudly located in Sutherland, providing a trusted source for healthy fish, live plants, and premium aquarium supplies.
We specialise exclusively in freshwater aquariums, offering expert guidance, professional tank maintenance, and door-to-door fish delivery, ensuring your aquatic pets arrive safely and in perfect condition.

The store is clean and well-organised. Sammy was a huge help, really friendly and gave great advice on what to pick and how to care for the fish. Definitely my go-to spot from now on!
