Blue Dolphin ( 5 CM )

The Blue Dolphin is a striking Lake Malawi Mbuna cichlid, admired for its vivid blue coloration and unique dolphin-shaped forehead that develops more as it matures. At 5 cm, juveniles are still developing their adult features and colours, making them an exciting addition to any African cichlid aquarium.

Blue Dolphins are semi-aggressive rock-dwelling Mbuna that thrive in aquariums with plenty of rocks, caves, and hiding spots. They are best kept with other Mbuna or similarly sized Haplochromines, where their bold colours and active behaviour can be fully appreciated.
