The F1 Mpambwee Frontosa is a majestic Tanganyikan cichlid, highly prized for its striking blue-grey body, bold black vertical stripes, and elegant, slow-moving fins. At 15 cm and above, these juveniles are already showing the characteristic hump and size of mature Frontosas, making them a standout display fish in any large freshwater aquarium.
Frontosas are peaceful but predatory, best kept with larger, non-aggressive Tanganyika cichlids. They thrive in aquariums with deep rockwork, caves, and open swimming space, where their slow, graceful movements and social behaviour can be fully appreciated.
