Livingstonii ( 7-8 CM )

The Livingstonii is a spectacular Lake Malawi cichlid known for its unique patterning and predatory behaviour. Juveniles at 7–8 cm are still developing their adult colours and characteristic markings, which make them one of the most fascinating and visually striking species for African cichlid enthusiasts.

Livingstonii are semi-aggressive Haps that thrive in larger Malawi aquariums with plenty of open swimming space and rockwork. They are best kept with similarly sized Haplochromine cichlids, as they exhibit a natural ambush predator behaviour in the tank.
