With its delicate body, warm reddish tones and distinctive dark markings, this little rasbora brings plenty of colour and movement to the aquarium despite its small size. They are naturally social and should be kept in a group, where they feel most comfortable and display their best behaviour.
Maculata Rasboras are peaceful community fish and are particularly well suited to aquariums with other small, gentle tank mates. They look especially impressive when kept over dark substrate and among dense aquatic plants.
