Pygmy Corydora (2–3 cm) – Corydoras pygmaeus
The Pygmy Corydora is a tiny, peaceful freshwater catfish, prized for its small size, social behaviour, and charming activity at the bottom of the aquarium. At 2–3 cm, these juveniles are perfect for community tanks and add movement and personality to the substrate.
Pygmy Corydoras are schooling bottom-dwellers and do best in groups of 6 or more. Hardy and beginner-friendly, they thrive in well-planted tanks with fine substrate, hiding spots, and gentle water flow. Their small size makes them ideal companions for other small, peaceful community fish.
